The practice of engineering and surveying in Puerto Rico is regulated by the state.

To protect life, health, and property, and to promote public welfare, any individual practicing or offering engineering or surveying services must present proof of authorization to practice in Puerto Rico, be registered with the Puerto Rico Examining Board of Engineers and Surveyors, and be an active member of CIAPR.

Our College actively ensures that anyone offering such services or presenting themselves as engineers or surveyors holds a valid license/certificate and active CIAPR membership, working to eliminate illegal practice of the professions.
