CIAPR Credit and Savings Cooperative

The CIAPR Credit and Savings Cooperative was created to provide services and meet the financial needs of Engineers and Surveyors in Puerto Rico who are CIAPR members. It was incorporated in August 1996 and began operations in December 1997. We have the resources available to assist both CIAPR members and the institution itself in ways that yield benefits and savings. With the continued support of our leadership, the Cooperative now has the opportunity to expand its services to members and continue its growth as an institution.

To promote and develop in our members the habit of saving and mutual aid by building a culture of solidarity, offering and delivering high-quality financial services under advantageous conditions through teamwork and personalized service that satisfies member expectations and ensures the Cooperative’s strong and sustainable growth within a democratic and participatory framework.

All the services listed above are available to our members. Some savings services are available to non-members, but full membership is obtained once the minimum required shares ($120.00) are acquired.

Currently, we have an alliance with Multi Mortgage (a subsidiary of Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples) to assist members with mortgage loan referrals. We also offer life and miscellaneous insurance services exclusively for our members. This makes us the only Cooperative in Puerto Rico to provide such services. Furthermore, we offer the Professional Liability Insurance required by OGPe at the most competitive rates in the market.
