President’s Message
Dear Members:Â
I address you to express my gratitude for the trust and honor you have bestowed upon me to lead our esteemed College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of Puerto Rico.
I firmly believe that together, we can continue elevating the prestige of our profession and our positive impact on Puerto Rico. As guardians of sustainable development and progress, we must embrace this role with determination and conviction.
My commitment is to continue strengthening our institution and the welfare of its members. I bring a vision of innovation in education, development, and active representation of our professionals, fostering close collaboration with the government, communities, and related organizations locally and internationally.
Working collectively, we can meet the challenges ahead and ensure that our contributions are recognized and valued. As engineers and land surveyors, we must stay updated with global trends, adopting new methodologies and tools to offer more efficient and sustainable solutions.
Collaboration is another fundamental pillar of my presidency. Only through cooperation across sectors and disciplines can we develop transformative projects that meet the country’s needs. We will encourage the exchange of ideas and experiences to attract future professionals to actively engage with our College.
The future of Puerto Rico depends on the decisions we make today. As committed professionals, we must lead the path toward a resilient infrastructure that drives growth and prosperity for generations to come.
